FAQ

  • Do I need to make an appointment for my drug test?
    Patients receiving DOT physicals, DNA testing or tests that require observation will need to call before they come in. Most tests can be done on a walk-in basis.
  • Do I need to bring my medications with me to Entero Services?
    You DO NOT need to bring your medications. If the specimen does not test negative for any contaminants a physician will contact you with more information.
  • Do I have to use my Social Security number?
    Entero does not make the decision to use Social Security numbers. You will only need your social security number for test processing if your employer requires it.
  • How long will the testing procedure take?
    Different tests require different amounts of time to receive accurate results. Most urinalysis and hair follicle tests will take less than 30 minutes to complete with many taking less than 15 minutes
  • How long will it take to receive my urinalysis test results?
    Most urinalysis results can be obtained within 15 minutes unless your sample has to be sent to a lab for further study. Lab results typically take 3-5 business days for complete analysis.
  • What if I can’t go to the bathroom?
    You will be allowed up to 40oz of water and 3 hours to provide a specimen given that you do not leave the facility before completion. Failing to meet these guidelines will be considered a refusal to complete the test.
  • How long will it take to receive my hair follicle test results?
    Hair follicle samples must be sent to a lab for complete analysis. Please allow 3-5 business days for complete test results.
  • How much hair will you take for the hair follicle test?
    We need approximately 120 strands of hair. Close to the thickness of a No.2 Pencil.
  • What if I don’t have enough hair on my head?
    We can use your body hair from your arm pits, chest or legs as an alternative to obtain accurate test results.
  • Who gets to see my drug test results?
    All results are confidential. If your test has been ordered by your employer, the results will only be shared with the employer and the individual taking the test.
